Marazzi is at the Triennale with "Kitchen” by Paolo Gonzato and “Millepiedi”, the bench - sculpture designed by Aldo Cibic - 1

Marazzi will be taking part in the “The Art of Living” ( #TheArtofLiving ) exhibition organised by Living-Corriere della Sera from today until 27 April.

The Art of Living focuses on the dialogue between the worlds of art and design with input from five young artists of international fame: Paolo Gonzato, Francesco Simeti, Marco Andrea Magni, Nicola Gobbetto and Alice Ronchi. They use and experiment with a variety of techniques: sculpture, wallpaper, wall-painting, wall-decoration, art and furnishing, video and painting.

Marazzi joins forces with Paolo Gonzato to present “Kitchen”, an abstract, visionary interpretation of the kitchen, where the modules of Treverkchic stoneware and SistemC ceramic tiles serve as a contemporary “palette” for three-dimensional painting.

As well as Marazzi, other top companies in Italian design have helped to give form to the creativity of the exhibition's star artists: B&B Italia, Poliform, Persol, Martinelli Luce, Meridiani, Bticino, MDF Italia, Hodara Art Designer, Potocco, Gardesa and Teuco.

To mark the inauguration of the new Museo del Design, also as part of the Triennale but this time outdoors, the Millepiedi bench-sculpture designed by Aldo Cibic and produced in partnership with Mapei is making a return appearance.

Grey SistemN Tortora stoneware, in the custom size requested, laid with contrasting joints in Mapei’s Kerapoxy Lime Green filler, underline the structure’s geometry and become the “skin” of this highly original “insect”, now resident in the Triennale garden.
